The National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF) is building a community of experienced CoastAdapt users who can support their Local Government and colleagues on the adaptation journey. A training session that will explore in detail some of CoastAdapt’s more specialised tools is being held on Friday, 1 June from 1:00pm – 4:30pm at the WALGA Boardroom, ONE70, LV1, 170 Railway Parade, West Leederville. Come at 12noon for a free lunch.

CoastAdapt is a comprehensive online hub of information and tools that decision-makers can use to plan coastal adaptation, learn from others, find guidance on all aspects of coastal adaptation and step through the adaptation process from start to finish.

The training will:

  • give you more insight and hands-on experience with the C-CADS framework;
  • help you to use the risk assessment guidance; and
  • show you how to tailor the communication material for your community.
